Amadeus

A film by Miloš Forman
Watch trailerScreenings
Miloš Forman’s Amadeus reimagines the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as a volatile confrontation between uncontainable genius and the quiet, corrosive force of envy. Told through the embittered gaze of Antonio Salieri, the film transforms historical drama into a probing study of authorship, faith, and the terror of recognizing brilliance one can neither match nor escape. Opulent in design yet razor-sharp in its psychological focus, Amadeus rejects the comforts of the traditional biopic in favor of a darker, more theatrical inquiry into creation, legacy, and the price of devotion to art.
